Gigi has been a drag workshop facilitator since 2019, and a guest lecturer at The London College of Music since 2024. Their BA in Film & Theatre from Reading University and 3 Years of conservatory training from The Stella Adler Studio of Acting in NYC, plus decades of industry experience in theatre, drag and cabaret, positions them as a powerful educator with a unique point of view. The majority of their teaching work has centred on drag, but Gigi hopes to expand their teaching practice to cover classes like Acting Through Song, Audition Technique and Monologue/Scene Study.

TESTIMONIALS

Gigi expertly introduced our students, many of whom were new to the world of drag and cabaret, to this vibrant art form. Their passion and dedication to exploring the diverse possibilities within drag left a lasting impression on our students, who not only learned valuable lessons but also thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Gigi's real-world perspective and enthusiasm brought the subject to life, making it both educational and incredibly fun.

Recently we had Gigi come in to teach us 2 sessions on ‘How To Drag’. I found this really eye opening as it opened up my eyes to a new world of drag that I hadn’t known before. Before, I had only seen drag through RuPauls Drag Race and this taught me there was so much more to drag than what I have seen. We looked at Judith Butler’s Theory of Gender Performativity, the stereotypes of being male and female, and femininity and masculinity through physical movement. Gigi’s lessons were so fun and engaging and helped us to come out of our shell and taught us to not hold back and go for it. We embodied our drag Kings and Queens and had so much fun in doing so. Thank you for sharing your time with us Gigi, we all had so much fun! We couldn’t recommend them enough!
